Workin’
My sister-in-law, Katrina, is hosting a little crafty open house with a bunch of local talented chicks in a few weeks, so I’m working on some projects to throw in the mix. I’ll post more details of the party later (feel free to go ahead and mark your calendars for Thursday, October 8
), but wanted to leave you with a shot of what’s cooking! Y’all come back now, hear?

I have been able to photograph this cute little guy since he was a day old in the hospital and then in the studio at 9 days old. It’s kinda crazy to think that he is a one year now!
Also, don’t forget to get entered for our photo session give away. All comments must be in by 10:00 pm TONIGHT! We will be announcing the winner on Friday.
I Want One!
How cute are these pumpkin wands? I’m starting to noodle the idea of Fall decorating…I think the season is pretty much here whether I’m ready or not (shh, don’t tell me I’m way behind on this!)…anyway, back to the adorable wands: they’re from It’s an Evolution, and you can win one over at Today’s Creative Blog’s Fabulous Friday Giveaway. Which reminds me, don’t forget to enter to win a free photo session from the lovely and talented Kayla!
Smooches,
Audrey

She’s Got the Bug
Miss J asked me to teach her to sew this afternoon. As much as I’d like to, my desk and sewing area are a disaster right now, and I’ve got a long list of other critical things to do tonight. So we settled for a quick lesson with needle and thread: Shoney-the-Horse was threatening to lose her stuffing, so we mended her. Following the fix-up, Miss J decided her horsey needed a hat, and a sleeve I cut off her favorite T-shirt last week made a perfect visor. We pulled out the glue gun to add a little bling, and VOILA! One project down…we’ll see what happens to all the fabric scraps the girl is cutting into as I write…
Loving my girl,

Eastern Idaho State Fair
I have been asked to show some of the pictures that I entered in the Eastern Idaho State Fair, and how I did. So, here ya go……
My cute little girl got one of the BIG State Fair Honorable Mention ribbon right as you walk in the front door! (So I just realized on Friday, that this picture also has a blue ribbon. I feel kinda dumb that I had no idea there was one hidding behind the big pink one.)
This beautiful Bride got a 1st place ribbon
This series got a 2nd place ribbon
Cute little monkey toes took a 3rd place ribbon
And here are just a few more that I had entered in the State Fair….
Be sure to stop by and check them out in person in the Photography building while you are at the fair!!
