My Youngest Assistant
I love my assistants! They are always fun to work with. I took Miss K with me on my last photo shoot. We had a great time. She would show Krista how to pose for pictures (I am not sure why I didn’t get a picture of her doing this). She was awesome, but she did have a bit of a hard time not getting all of the camera attention. She was able to ride Red (the horse) when we got done. And as for the dress she is wearing, she thought she should be in her beautiful dress along with Krista {wink}.
Thanks Miss K for helping me out–can’t wait to do it again!

Family Time
Oops! I disappeared there for about a week…that went fast! Here’s what I’ve been up to: helping my hubby finish a major remodel on a camp trailer to take on our annual family-reunion-camp-out. It was a race to get everything ready in time. We spent a lot of late nights at my father-in-law’s shop, cutting, caulking, welding, stapling. We had a bunch of picnic suppers, and the kids enjoyed zipping around on bikes, climbing on everything and watching movies while we worked.
Somehow, we made it to the finish line and took them camping for five days. It was so fun to relax in our new space, have fun with cousins, and eat lots of yummy food.
Still catching up on laundry,
Audrey
6 Years Old….
I cannot believe that it has been 6 years!!!! Wow. It has kinda flown by, but at some stages it has seemed like forever. I took Mr B out for his birthday photo shoot today. It seems like he always wants his pictures taken when he’s wearing work clothes but when I dress him up and want to get great pictures of him, it isn’t as exciting to him. Figures! We did manage to have a good time and get some great pictures.
He has some LONG eyelashes to go along with his melting baby blue eyes!
Happy Birthday to my baby boy (tomorrow).
Love you always and forever…..Mom (Kayla)
Mahogany Pork Chops
As Audrey mentioned, these pork chops are Yummy! Here’s the how-to…
4 top loin pork chops
1/3 cup teriyaki sauce
2 tablespoons ketchup (if you want sweeter, use molasses)
Season chops with salt & pepper. Stir together teriyaki & ketchup. Place chops on grill and baste with sauce.
Wear cute apron while grilling! {wink}
Serve with peas, salad & dinner rolls!
Mmmmmm……my mouth is watering now.

A Few More….
I can’t help it–here are a few more of Miss Kodie and her perfect shoot.
I admit, I am just in love with these pictures and this girl…I guess that’s why I couldn’t resist sharing so many!
And this one, it kinda makes me laugh.

Oh, And an Apron Too!
While I was working on my nieces’ dresses the other day, I remembered that I kind of did the same thing for their mom’s birthday…last December. Only I told her I’d make her an apron. And then I forgot! Sheesh.
So anyway, while I was planning and cutting everything else, I threw this little baby into my pile and since it was finished first and I couldn’t wait for her to see it before showing you (sorry, K), I rushed over to Kayla’s for a quick photo. Bonus: I got a yummy pork chop dinner out of the deal! I’m sooo lucky. 🙂
BTW, if you like this apron (which went together fast and easy), it’s the Flirty Skirty pattern I purchased at Kati Cupcake (with a few of my own modifications…but you get the idea).
Banishing thoughts of keeping it all to myself,
Audrey
