One on One Time
Last week was a busy one, with new babies and dance recitals and homework and…you know the drill. 😉 One afternoon my two younger children spent a few hours at Grammie’s house, and didn’t want to leave when it was time for big sister’s school bus to arrive, so I left them there to play for a while longer and headed home solo. Miss J was thrilled to have some “alone time” with Mommy, so I decided to deviate from ‘the list’ and asked her what she’d like to do with our little unexpected time treasure. She wanted to make jewelry, so we pulled out the supplies that I seem to keep accumulating and put a little something together for her.
We lined everything up:
And giggled and made some faces:
And she went to school the next day with something pretty, with which to practice time management.
How cute and fun, I often forget how important that one on one time is. They enjoy it so much. Looks like you had a great time together. 🙂
